Reading German is not a problem, writing is...Lucky there is English!
I have strange problem with my TT600R from 2001, after 3 months of a standstill after a long trip (5000km) I wanted to ride it again to warm the oil for an oil change. After the 4th kick or so the kickstarter blocked. The bike was put in the garage in good working order.
I took the plug out and tried again, still stuck.
I can rotate the crankshaft back and fort by hand until just before TDP, then it blocks
Removed the automatic kickstarter cable to make sure this wouldn't stick.
Checked the valves briefly and they have play.
So i went to this glorious forum a found a lot of misery about the balance shaft key. My thought where that the key may have been broken and the balance shaft was of timing blocking the crankshaft. Followed this thread http://www.tt600r.eu/phpbb3/Article/Kontrolle_von_Muttern_und_Passfedern/a44.html and it looks like everything is in good order.
Can you guys have look on this pictures to confirm this?
I am a bit out of thoughts at this moment, probably i need to lift the cam cover, is this an easy job?
Thank you in advance!
